Cocaine . . . Meth . . .

March 11, 2005 by Isaac Hovet

Oh boy . . . Today I came face to face with the infamous result of drugs and the resulting lifestyle. I got a call this morning from a desperate mom of a 19 year old man. Her druggie son was home again with nowhere to go. I had met him several months ago and figured that he hadn’t hit the cold, hard floor just yet. He may be closer now. Of course I made time to meet with him and made an appointment with Teen Challenge for him. We are scheduled to meet next week again . . .

Please pray for this young man who is paranoid, schizophrenic and barely hanging on.

Ahhh I know a woman with a 40 yr. old son who just came to her door drugged up with no home and fired from his job at Ford. He tried Teen Challenge too and he quit after a couple weeks and is back at his mother’s door. Hmmm…I don’t know what advice you should give the mother…I mean he is her son and she doesn’t want to kick him out without a home and on drugs…but at the same time he has to learn sometime. Before he’s 40 and still on drugs who ends up…once again…on his mother’s doorstep.
