I am not too fond of doing administrative things. I spent the last two hours making phone calls and booking an event. I feel so drained. I find it hard to believe that there are actually people who enjoy such things. I would much rather develop the idea for the event, but not book it. My head aches.

I often think that I should have trailing along behind me (1) a scribe and (2) a planner. I need someone to be able to write down my thoughts as they cascade, sometimes indiscriminately, out of my mouth. And then I need a planner to help implement the ideas and plans that are in my head. When I was younger I thought that I needed to be all of these things, but now that I am older I realize that there are very few people who are good at all of these things. The reality is that we all need to help each other. I suppose that is why we are all so different. “It takes all kinds.” So if you know of a scribe to write and a planner to plan, let me know. I could use the help . . .

On a better note:

The Order of the Mustard Seed

I am going to write about all of this later, but for now read up on this concept and tell me what you think.

It sounds like Count Zinzendorf and the Moravian Church are the insparation behind this renewal. I must say it does peak my interest. Has anybody read the book offered on the OMS web site?

  2. Bridger says:

I haven’t read it, but have thought about getting it, which doesn’t amount to much. So, I guess I would love to read it and discuss it here. What do you think Wag?

I wonder what Lion would say to that. Lion?

  3. There’s a lot of guts to what they are describing. It calls to a part of my heart that longs for the battle that I was born to die fighting.
    I am interested.

  4. Skallywag says:

    Gentlmen,

    I’m on board.
    I’ll order it tonight!

  5. Bridger says:

Great Wag. I will as well.

    Lion, are you in?

God be with each of you.

  6. bridger,

Yeah. That would be cool. I’ll order it too. (I have to go to sleep right now though, the lioness has to work early in the morning!)
